Forge had a good run in his younger years in the ring he competed in and passed his Breed survey at just 18 months old. But due to other commitments Karen was unable to show him as much as she would have liked. Since the end of 2010 Jason has revived Forges show career and the two of them are really enjoying their time in the ring together.
During Forges Show Career he attained 8 V Ratings at Rottweiler Specialty Shows, numerous Class in Group wins. His last two Shows he won Best Veteran in Group 6 at the Perth Royal Show 2011 and Best Veteran in Group 6 at the Hills Kennel Club Show.
Forge is the perfect example of the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover” he is the type of boy that if you don’t know him you automatically take a step back, with his rustic looks, giant head and a body to match it is easy to see why people are weary of him at first sight. But once you meet Forge you realize that looks can be deceptive and he is just a big, soft, cuddly, teddy bear that wants nothing more than for you to pay all of your attention to him and him alone. He will climb up onto your lap not realizing just how big he is. He is the boy that changes everyones opinions on Rottweilers after meeting Forge you can't help but fall in love with this wonderful breed.
On the 17th of January 2012 at 7 years 9 months to the day, we had to say good-bye to our WONDERFUL boy.
His lease was up with us and this world. Gone to run free once again. We are extremely greatful to be able to be apart of this beautiful boys life even if only for a short time.
We are thankful for every moment we had with him and will cherish every memory.

Forge is the son of Australian Grand Champion Blackcombe La Forge CDX ET and Klimkie Unser Jasmin. This wonderful boy came to us on loan from Karen Richardson in the middle of 2010. We instantly fell in love with his teddy bear nature.
