Welcome to Diziz Rottweilers, we are a small kennel located in the Northern suburbs of Perth Western Australia. Our love affair with Rottweilers both started when we were children and we have been fortunate enough that now our own childern have fallen in love with these wonderful dogs.
My husband Jason was born in Cambridge England and was introduced to this wonderful breed as a 2 year old. His parents were registered breeders of Bassets and Dobermans, they spent most weekends travelling around the United Kingdom to the many different shows, showcasing there dogs. In 1984 they decided to get what would start Jason’s love for Rottweilers his first rotty Sven. There was an instant connection between Jason and Sven and they soon become inseparable. After a very successful run in the show ring with Sven this started Jason’s love for showing. In 1992 when they immigrated to Australia they were unfortunately unable to bring their loving pet with them. Once in Australia his parents continued with their love for showing their dogs. Jason and his Sister briefly began to show but at that stage in there lives it was not their main prority. After his parents retired from the show ring Jason knew that with the passion he had inherited from them, he would soon follow in their footsteps and have his own kennel.
So with 15 years in the making Diziz Rottweilers was finally born.
My love affair of the breed began when I was young child, my family adopted a Rottweiler from a Rottweiler rescue as a companion for my Grandmother. A loving big bear she was happy to just lie around the house chilling out, but would soon spring into life whenever there was kids around to play with. She always very aware that she was playing with children and behaved accordingly. When there was babies crawling around on the floor she was very cautious, she would even get down on the floor and crawl along next to them, to make sure that they were safe. From the moment I met this beautiful girl I knew this was the breed for me.
Back in 2009 Jason and I were finally in a position to purchase our first Rottweiler. Our 3rd baby Keira. Purchased from Jahwohl Rottweilers in Perth. This began a wonderful friendship between Karen and ourselves. In the middle of 2010 we were given a wonderful opportunity by Keira’s breeder Karen she offered for us to look after her big boy Forge. Both Jason and myself jumped at the chance to have this lovely boy come and stay with us. The experience and knowledge that he has given us has been priceless and we thank Karen for giving us this opportunity. Forge immediately slipped right into our family as though he had always been here.
We have now added to our family of Rottweilers a lovely young boy Jaxon. He has been sent to us by our wondeful new friends Debi and Nev from Blakesims Rottweilers in N.S.W. This aquision was made possible with the help of Jasons mentour and friend Carla of Gelderland Rottweilers. This beautiful boy is a wonderful asset to us at Diziz Rottweilers. We are very excited to see how this gorgeous boy matures.
All of our dogs are well socialized, loving dogs they adore our two children Amelia 9 and Ashley 5 and they are the best of friends.
We hope in 2014 we will have luck in and out of the show ring.
